Pirate Festival Entertainment
In addition to the regular schedule of events, the 2009 Pirate Festival featured a Pirates Welcome Party on Friday night at the Lani Kai Resort (1400 Estero Blvd, Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931. 239.463..3111) and a Pirates Tiki Party on Saturday night at the Lighthouse Resort ( 1051 Fifth Ave, Fort Myers Beach, FL 3393. 239.463.9392).
From the Welcome Party on Friday night till the event closed on Sunday evening, the crowds found plenty of reasons to declare the Fort Myers Beach Pirate Festival the 'perfect excuse' to make the Columbus Day Weekend a long weekend at the beach.
